Roza Melkumyan is a US-born journalist, arts journalist, and writer currently based in Yerevan. She is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those whose stories might otherwise go unheard, and is a life-long learner, observer, and lover of culture. She currently writes and researches for ONEArmenia, and continues to fall further in love with Armenia and its people. In 2019, she taught critical thinking and writing skills in the English department at Brusov University, on a Fulbright Scholarship. For the past four years, she has written freelance for the online publication, FF2 Media, which provides a platform for the underrepresented voices of women filmmakers and artists in a male-dominated industry. In her spare time, she practices her languages and propagates plants. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from New York University in 2018.
