Grigor Atanesian graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University. He worked as an editor for Esquire magazine, the Russian edition. Grigor also reported a number of stories for Port, the Russian edition of a UK-based men’s magazine. He contributed to other Russian magazines and online publications, such as The Guardian, Afisha, Men’s Health, The Prime Russian Magazine, The Interview and the Moscow Times.
