Dance troupes have always been an integral part of the cultural life of the Armenian Diaspora. While their existence is a struggle, they still perform. Gayaneh Madzounian, artistic director and choreographer of the AGBU Arin Dance Ensemble in Beirut, Lebanon, talks about the importance of maintaining dance troupes, what they give to the community and what they receive in return.
