Sergei Parajanov’s "The Color of Pomegranates" has had a very troubled past and has yet to reveal many of its secrets. Writer and filmmaker Daniel Bird set out to piece together not only the components of the original version of the film but also the stories that surrounded the making of the cinematographic masterpiece.
