Despite the efforts of the government and the support of three out of the four political forces represented in the National Assembly, the amendments to Armenia’s Electoral Code did not pass and on December 9 of this year, Armenia will go to the polls to elect its 7th parliament. Hamazasp Danielyan, a member the Prime Minister's Special Commission on Electoral Reform explains how the failure to change the Electoral Code might affect the upcoming elections.
