Houry Gebeshian was the first ever female gymnast to represent Armenia at the Olympics in Rio in 2016. In Armenia volunteering with the Birthright Armenia program, Houry is coaching girls at the Shahinyan Sports school, visiting other gymnastics schools in Gyumri, Vanadzor and Echmiadzin and above all, advocating for improving girls inclusion into sports.
